A new horizon twinkles in an eye
A smile dawns to the world,
A joyful tear falls from a mother’s eye
A moment in time, an infant is born.

The air he breathes
The sound he cries,
The life he possesses
The mind he has,
The spirit of innocence in him
He, is the father of man,
He, is the miracle of two people,
And he, of all, is human!

Child, you are part of the vast universe
You are part of the sky, the star
The sun and the moon,
You are yet to learn the lessons that
Life has in store for you, child.
You shall learn of fear,
Of anger, of pain, of loneliness, of hate
And you shall also learn to see the light,
The light of hope, of peace, of joy,
Of forgiveness and most of all, of love!

The gift is in your hand, child
Trust in your heart to lead the way,
To know the right from wrong
To know the good from bad,
The world is how you create it
And it is for you to find yourself!
