Genting Highlands

A timeless land
A land without day or night,
A land above silvery clouds
A land touched by civilization,
Dead cold as a coward
Hiding away from the sun.

Your virginity was raped by man
Who claimed your green blood,
He turned you into a paradise
Insatiable of human’s deadly desire,
And he shall be craving for more and more
Even though he’s got a stomach full of gold.

In the night so windy
I can hear your scream,
For you shall never hear the call of the wild
You shall never again see the eagles fly
Or know the colours of the sky;
When I wake; “Was it reality or merely a dream?”

How does it feel bitten by reality?
Being a helpless slave in the palms of man,
Being a place where
Mindless man throws away his time,
When he comes here searching for
Something he thinks he deserves.

Just what have I done
Being a part of heartless man?
Look at what we have done!
Having hearts filled with sand;
When will we ever learn?
When will we understand?

Though my hope is somehow shaken
Never did I have a doubt
That time will heal your wounds,
Then you shall be a land, so pure a land
Beyond greed, beyond lust, beyond time
And by then, you would already have died.
