The rain was falling upon Victoria
In the twilight of a solitary picture,
My warm heart hidden from the autumn chill
My silence filled with profound zeal.
The night was moonless at the harbour
The air was sacred and still,
As I walked down the timeless street
A fine calm descended upon me.
Unsmiling buildings adorned with lights
Points of light shattered upon the water,
I gazed at the distant Pacific Ocean
My mind suddenly swept by a notion.
A white horse trotting swiftly into the darkness
Drawn upon its face was such sadness,
I was lost in a moment without frustrations
In a world of my own beyond commotions.
Strangers passing by exchanging glances
Curiosity painted upon their expressions,
Like them, I was searching for tranquility
A wanderer upon Victoria, constantly……
